Cameron Johnson scored a game-high 27 points, and North Carolina beat Wake Forest 95-57 in Winston-Salem on Saturday.
The Tar Heels were fueled by Johnson’s big game, which included a 10-for-13 shooting performance from the floor, and 7-of-10 mark from three-point range. It was Johnson’s highest scoring output of the season, and seventh game of 20 or more points. He’s now recorded double-digit points in 23 of the Tar Heels’ 25 games this season.
Coby White and Luke Maye each added 10 points, and North Carolina got 39 points from its bench. The Tar Heels shot 62 percent for the game, and knocked down 16-of-25 shots from beyond the arc.
