Michigan’s Eli Brooks scored a game-high 24 points and pulled down five rebounds in the Wolverines’ 73-64 victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels in the second round of the 2019 Battle 4 Atlantis.
Brooks hit 9-of-14 shots from the floor, and 4-of-6 from beyond the three-point line. Junior forward Isaiah Livers added 12 points for Michigan, and 7-foot-1, 265-pound Jon Teske scored 10. Sophomore reserve David DeJulius came off the bench and scored 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting, helping the Wolverines to their sixth victory of the season, and an appearance in the tournament championship game on Friday.
