After a relatively quiet week of college basketball, the Duke Blue Devils retained their No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 poll on Monday. The Blue Devils are now 6-0 after a pair of victories last week — one over Cal, and the other an eight-point scare against Georgetown.
Louisville is No. 2 again this week, and received seven first-place votes. The Cardinals are followed by the Michigan State Spartans at No. 3, who nabbed four first-place votes after a 48-point win over Charleston Southern last week. Kansas came in at fourth again this week.
The Maryland Terrapins jumped the North Carolina Tar Heels, and into the top-5 after a pair of convincing wins last week.
