With the holiday season upon us, it means the return of high school basketball holiday tournaments.
One of the biggest each year around the country is the City of Palms Classic Basketball Tournament that takes place in Fort Myers, Florida. The event tipped off on Wednesday and several of the nation’s top recruits are involved in it.
That includes a few UNC recruits and targets.
On Wednesday, 2020 four-star Tar Heels’ commit R.J. Davis made his debut in the tournament and got off to a hot start. Davis scored 22 points in Stepinac’s 69-62 over Briarcrest Christian on Wednesday night:
Davis and Stepinac beat 2021 five-star and UNC target Kennedy Chandler in the matchup on Wednesday.
