With a week until college basketball officially begins, expectations are high around this year’s UNC team. It’s significantly turned over from the Tar Heel team that earned a #1 seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, but with a few key pieces returning and a nice combination of expected improvement and offseason acquisitions, it appears that the team has retooled nicely and already found some semblance of an identity, if the preseason action we’ve seen is any indication. While a lot of things about this team have yet to be answered, we don’t have to pretend that we don’t know anything.
