UNC Basketball: Sterling Manley ruled out for game at NC State

At his press conference on Monday afternoon, North Carolina head coach Roy Williams announced that sophomore power forward Sterling Manley would miss his third consecutive game due to soreness in his left knee.

Manley is yet to play a game in 2019, having last suited up against the Davidson Wildcats on December 29th. In that game, Manley scored five points and pulled down four rebounds in 13 minutes of play, shooting 1-for-2 from the floor and knocking down 3-of-4 from the free throw line.

In limited minutes this season, the sophomore big man has been one of the Tar Heels’ most effective rebounders.
