The North Carolina Tar Heels’ schedule gets a little tougher beginning on Thanksgiving when they take on Texas in the Las Vegas Invitational. The two-day event with pit UNC against the Longhorns and either UCLA or Michigan State.
Both the Bruins and Spartans will be ranked for Friday’s game but UNC’s opponent will be determined with what happens in Thursday’s games.
Whatever happens on Thursday and Friday, the Tar Heels know for sure they will be without one key player in their rotation. Ahead of their trip to Las Vegas, it was reported that backup point guard Seventh Woods would not play in the tournament due to a concussion.
