The North Carolina Tar Heels have had a long break in-between games, following their win vs. UCLA in the CBS Sports Classic last week. Now they will return to the court on Monday night for their final non-conference game of the year vs. Yale.
Ahead of that matchup, head coach Roy Williams took the opportunity to go down the road to Raleigh and watch the John Wall Invitational.
The annual tournament showcases some of the top talent in all of high school basketball each year and it never fails to amaze. This year, the Tar Heels have two recruits playing in the game as Day’Ron Sharpe made his return to the state with Montverde and Donovan “Puff” Johnson is also playing for Hillcrest out of Arizona.
