University of North Carolina head coach Roy Williams continues to make some in-home visits on a very important time for recruiting.
After making a visit to see class of 2019 center Will Baker on Monday, Williams is heading to Florida to visit one of the top recruits in the class.
According to Scout’s Evan Daniels, Williams is visiting five-star power forward Vernon Carey Jr. on Wednesday. Carey Jr. is ranked as the No. 2 overall recruit in the 247 Sports’ recruiting rankings and the top player at his position and in the state of Florida.
