Still looking to make a splash in the class of 2019, Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels are recruiting 5-star point guard Cole Anthony as hard as any player in recent history.
The 6-foot-3, 184-pound Anthony would not only help the Tar Heels make that splash, but he’d be an impact player — and likely starter — from day one in Chapel Hill.
A New York native and son of former 12-year NBA veteran Greg Anthony, Cole is one of the most highly regarded high school players in the nation. A terrific junior season at Archbishop Molloy — and a performance on the Nike EYBL circuit to match it — helped make that happen, and Anthony ultimately transferred to Oak Hill Academy in Mount of Wilson, Virginia.
