The North Carolina Tar Heels have stamped their ticket to the national championship on Monday night by defeating Syracuse Orange 83-66. This victory marked the third time Carolina beat Syracuse this season.
North Carolina shot poorly from three-point range (23.5%). In the first half, North Carolina missed all 10 of their three-point attempts but still had a 11 point lead at halftime.
In the second half, it was a different story as they connected on four of their six three-point attempts.
Carolina dominated the low post behind Brice Johnson’s 16 points and Kennedy Meeks’s 15 points.
