It’s possible that the North Carolina Tar Heels could be without key freshman Nassir Little when they travel to Winston-Salem to take on Wake Forest on Saturday.
During Monday’s loss at home against Virginia, Little went down with an ankle injury after stepping on a foot. He went back to the locker room early in the first half and didn’t return as UNC fell to Virginia, ending their seven-game win streak.
The Tar Heels had a few days off in between games, giving Little the chance to rest that ankle some before Saturday’s matchup with Wake.
On Friday, UNC head coach Roy Williams held his press conference to discuss that game and was asked about Little’s status.
