The NBA’s best team may be getting even better, as the Milwaukee Bucks are clearing up space to sign veteran forward Marvin Williams.
The Bucks will reportedly waive third-year big man Dragan Bender now that Williams’ contract with the Charlotte Hornets has been bought out. Bender has made just seven appearances for the Bucks this season, averaging 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Williams will be waived as soon as Saturday, allowing him to clear waivers with the remainder of his $15 million expiring salary, and become an unrestricted free agent.
