University of North Carolina senior Luke Maye is preparing to play in his final NCAA Tournament as the Tar Heels are a No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region. Maye has been to the Final Four in two of the past three seasons with the Tar Heels and is hoping to make it a third time this year.
The former preferred walk-on has come a long way in his UNC career, breaking out on the scene after hitting the game-winning shot to beat Kentucky and send the Tar Heels to the Final Four in 2017. A year after that, Maye averaged a double-double and was named First Team All-ACC.
