Wisconsin Herd power forward Luke Maye turned 23 years old on Saturday night, and it’ll be a birthday that he won’t soon forget. The former North Carolina standout scored 25 points off the Wisconsin bench, helping his team to a 136-122 victory over the Capital City Go-Go.
Maye hit 9-of-13 shots for the game, and 5-of-8 from three-point range. He had nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes of play. Former St. Bonaventure point guard Jaylen Adams added a game-high 30 points, and the Wisconsin duo fueled the Herd to a comeback win after trailing by double-digits at halftime.
