The former UNC basketball player will continue playing overseas, as his professional career is now taking him to Japan for the 2023-2024 season.
Since ending his college career with the UNC basketball program, Justin Pierce has played five professional seasons overseas.
Pierce began his professional career with the Lapuan Korikobrat in Finland and proceeded to spend the next two seasons in Germany as a member of both the VfL Kirchheim Knights as well as the wiha Panthers Schwenninge. From there, Pierce spent the 2022-2023 season with Monar Bar in Montenegro.
The 2023-2024 season will take Pierce to a new country, as he’s signed a deal with Viatin Mie in Japan.
