Just minutes after being named to USA Today’s All-American second team, UNC junior forward Justin Jackson earns first team honors from another publication.
On Monday afternoon, The Sporting News named Jackson a first team All-American, adding to the growing list of accomplishments for the talented UNC wing.
Yesterday, Jackson was named ACC Player of the Year, the fourth such individual to win the award at North Carolina during Roy Williams’ 14 years as head coach.
Tyler Hansbrough won the award in 2008 followed by Ty Lawson in 2009 and Tyler Zeller in 2012.
