Just weeks after Justin Jackson was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, he’s picked up another big accolade.
As North Carolina prepares to take on Butler in Friday’s Sweet 16 game, it was announced that Jackson was named to a First Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Jackson was a consensus pick for the team by winning the ACC Player of the Year award.
He was also named First Team All-American honors by SportingNews and Second Team by United States Basketball Writers Association.
Joining Jackson on the First Team is guard Lonzo Ball (UCLA), guard Frank Mason (Kansas), forward Josh Hart (Villanova) and center Caleb Swanigan (Purdue).
