There was a lot of talk going into Tuesday’s game that this might be Clemson’s best chance at winning in Chapel Hill.
The Tigers entered the game 15-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play. It seemed as if they finally had their shot to end the 0-58 mark.
Nope.
Instead, the North Carolina Tar Heels came out and took control of the game with a 13-3 run early on.
Despite going cold at the end of the first half, UNC still held a double-digit lead at the break.
Clemson got hot in the second half, hitting 15-straight shots without a miss at one point and got an 18-point deficit down to just two.
