Joel Berry II is one of the most decorated Tar Heels in the long, rich history of the North Carolina basketball program. And despite having played his final college game, he’s not done adding to his resume.
On Wednesday, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) voted Berry a 2018 third team All-American. Berry is joined on the third team by Villanova’s Mikal Bridges, West Virginia guard Jevon Carter, Texas Tech’s Keenan Evans and Virginia Cavaliers guard Kyle Guy.
The UNC standout earned the prestigious distinction just two weeks after being named a 2018 first team All-ACC selection.
