The inaugural Iverson Roundball Classic is underway, and one of Wednesday night’s bright spots was North Carolina commit Jalek Felton.
Felton, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound combo guard out of Gray Collegiate in Columbia, South Carolina, won the three-point shootout with an outstanding performance that showed his continued improvement from long-range.
He won the contest by connecting on 15-of-25 three-pointers in the first round and 16-of-25 in the final round.
At one point, in the not-so-distant past, one of the main concerns about Felton was his ability to shoot the ball, particularly from long-distance.
That doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore.
