Close to a month after UNC’s season ended in heartbreaking fashion, Tar Heel forward Harrison Ingram announced this morning his intention to enter the NBA Draft. In Ingram’s one year in Chapel Hill after he’d spent the first two years of his college career at Stanford, he had a career season, averaging 12.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. As much as for his stat-stuffing, though, he’ll be remembered for how quickly he endeared himself to the program and fanbase with his engaging personality off the court and dogged hustle play on it.
