One of college basketball’s top graduate transfer players has made a decision on where he’ll play next season, and it’s the University of Southern California that’ll get his final year of eligibility.
Daniel Utomi, formerly a member of the Akron Zips, made his official announcement on Tuesday night via his personal Twitter account, ending a short but intense time period in which a myriad of big name schools were courting the talented forward.
In doing so, he turned down offers from Kansas, North Carolina and Virginia, among others; all of which are having to deal with multiple defections from this year’s squad that leave holes on their respective rosters for next season.
