There was a point where the UNC Basketball program appeared to be the heavy favorites for talented four-star recruit De’Ante Green. The Swannanoa, North Carolina native is one of the top players in the country and has seen his stock rise a bit as the months have gone on.
UNC did offer Green last year with Roy Williams at the helm but the Tar Heels continued to show interest in the recruit even with Hubert Davis taking over.
