Former North Carolina Tar Heels shooting guard Rashad McCants is back in professional basketball; this time in Lebanon.
McCants signed with Club Sportif Antonins of the Pepsis LBL League on Tuesday, marking the fifth international team that he’s played with since flaming out of the NBA G-League in 2013.
The 33-year-old McCants has been out of professional basketball for two years. He last played in the Domincan Republic for Caneros de La Romana, a member of the LNB League’s top division.
It’s been eight years since the veteran sharpshooter played for the Sacramento Kings.
