Former UNC basketball player Jackson Simmons has been elevated in the Charlotte Hornets organization.
Jackson Simmons, former University of North Carolina basketball player, has been promoted to Head Video Coordinator for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, the organization announced in a press release on Monday.
Simmons served as the team’s Assistant Video Coordinator for the past three seasons prior to his promotion. His previous spot in the organization has been taken over by Klint Carlson and Daniel Dixon, the team announced in a flurry of staffing changes made this week.
Simmons, a Webster, North Carolina native, was a standout at Smoky Mountain High School prior to attending North Carolina.
