Point guard Kendall Marshall got his chance to start for the North Carolina Tar Heels when Larry Drew II left the program in February 2011. From there, Marshall took over as the starter at point guard and developed into one of the best passers in program history.
After a few stints in the NBA, Marshall returned to UNC during the 2017-18 season to finish his degree and work with the basketball program.
Marshall is continues to help the program as much as he can and is also set to complete his degree at UNC.
While appearing on his weekly radio show Tuesday night, head coach Roy Williams discussed Marshall’s involvement with the team and revealed some big news.
