I can’t remember a moment of my life when I did hate Duke. They have never not been the bad guys. They say to hate like this is to be happy forever, and that might be true, but it also means a pit in my stomach that appears the morning of game day and never seems to subside. Carolina losing always ruins my day, but Duke being involved ruins my week.
I absolutely loathe them.
The great thing about that kind of hatred is that everyone wearing the correct shade of blue is right there with you.
