For you University of North Carolina basketball fans that are hoping to see some improvements to the Dean E. Smith Center, you might be waiting a little longer.
The topic of renovations to the Dean Dome has been floated around for years now with one of the topics being location of the student section. One criticism of the arena is that the students are in an odd spot behind the basket and not near the court like other stadiums.
UNC athletic director Bubba Cunningham spoke to Inside Carolina about possible renovations to the Dean Dome and had both good and bad news for fans.
