Former University of North Carolina standout and current Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Danny Green put together one of his best performances of the season on Friday night.
The 11-year NBA veteran scored 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the floor, and 6-of-10 from three-point range. Green’s nine makes were his second-most in a game this season, and it was the third time in the last three months that he’s connected on six or more three-pointers in a game. Not only that, Green added five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 33 minutes of play. He didn’t commit a single turnover, and had a game-high plus-27 plus/minus.
