The John Wall Invitational is one of the premiere high school basketball holiday tournaments in the entire country and is always loaded with talent.
Last year fans watched as University of North Carolina commit Coby White set a new tournament record, putting on a show for Greenfield High School. Now this year it’s another UNC commit putting on a show in a different way.
Through the first two days of the tournament, 2020 UNC commit Day’Ron Sharpe has helped lead South Central to back-to-back victories in the TJ Warren bracket with his play.
In the 65-52 opening win against Athens Drive on Wednesday, Sharpe finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
