The North Carolina Tar Heels have been without starting point guard Cole Anthony for nearly eight weeks now, but the star freshman is set to return on Saturday night against Boston College. The school confirmed the news just over two hours before the start of the game on Saturday afternoon.
Anthony suffered a partially torn meniscus in his right knee that required arthroscopic surgery In mid-December. He hasn’t played since the Tar Heels’ 56-47 loss at Virginia on December 8. North Carolina has struggled mightily in his absence, going just 4-7 and dropping five consecutive games in the month of January.
