The North Carolina Tar Heels received some bad news ahead of Sunday’s game against Wofford in Carmichael and it might impact them long term.
Just ahead of Sunday’s game at Carmichael vs. Wofford, the Tar Heels announced that freshman guard Cole Anthony would miss the game. But then it got worse. The press release not only said that Anthony would miss Sunday’s game vs. the Terriers but that he would be out indefinitely.
Anthony is dealing with a right knee injury that he suffered earlier in the season and it was enough to keep him out.
The school also announced that there will be treatment plans and that evaluations will take place over the next couple of days.
