Cole Anthony moved from his hometown school, Archbishop Molloy in Queens, New York, to Oak Hill in Virginia because he wanted to stand out among the best high school players in the country and some of the best in recent(ish) history, including Brandon Jennings, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, and Jerry Stackhouse. He was already extremely highly regarded prior to his senior season; Rivals ranked him as high as second overall in the 2019 class between his junior and senior years. So the move wasn’t about exposure in a recruiting sense - as Greg Anthony’s son, Cole was going to have that regardless.
