University of North Carolina freshman point guard Cole Anthony’s name has been added to another preseason award watch list, and it’s for one of the most prestigious honors in college basketball.
The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Monday that the 5-star recruit from Oak Hill Academy is one of 20 players named to the 2020 NABC Division I Player of the Year award watch list. It’s just the latest in a flurry of preseason honors for the New York native, including ACC Rookie of the Year, All-ACC and All-American honors, as well as a nod for the Naismith Trophy.
