Just when you thought the Cole Anthony hype had hit a fever pitch, it reached a new level during the McDonald’s All-American festivities in Atlanta this week.
The 5-star prospect from Oak Hill Academy took home the McDonald’s All-American 3-point shootout title on Tuesday, knocking down 14 of his 17 attempts in the event. Less than 24 hours later, Anthony put on a show in the star-studded All-American Game that featured 24 of the best high school basketball players in the country.
The 6-foot-3, 183-pound Anthony scored 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting, while dishing out seven assists and pulling down five rebounds in leading the East squad to a 115-100 victory over the West.
