Cam Johnson will be wearing Carolina blue, argyles and custom Air Jordan’s for the next year or two. For the past three years, Johnson played basketball for his hometown Pittsburgh Panthers.
Previously, Pittsburgh refused to release Johnson because he desired to play for a conference rival, the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Perhaps, the attention of this case prompted Pittsburgh to change their stance on this issue. Regardless of the reason, Johnson was granted his full release this week.
