After weeks of uncertainty, we finally have an update on the status of UNC PG Seventh Woods.
According to Ross Martin of Inside Carolina, Head Coach Roy Williams said that Woods is no longer in any pain and is off crutches, but is not doing much besides dribbling a basketball.
Williams added that Woods will have an MRI sometime soon.
While Woods was not one of the team’s leading scorers, the impact of his absence has still been felt. The sophomore floor general was the only point guard on the roster with any experience outside of senior Joel Berry II.
