UNC Basketball Alumni: Former Tar Heel adds 20 pounds of muscle

Former North Carolina standout and current Dallas Mavericks small forward Justin Jackson has reportedly added 20 pounds of muscle during the NBA offseason.

Jackson played his final 29 games of the 2018-19 season with the Mavericks after a February trade sent him from Sacramento to Dallas. Jackson averaged a career-best 8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and an assist in 18.3 minutes per game with the Mavericks. He averaged career-highs in field goal percentage, three-point percentage and effective field goal percentage.

Now, he’s looking to increase his minutes and compete for a spot in the team’s starting lineup with an improved physique and polished game.
