Former University of North Carolina standout and 2-time NBA champion Danny Green has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers on a 2-year, $30 million contract.
Terms of the agreement were reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski late Friday night, but it was Green that broke the news on Twitter via a video post on his shared Twitter account, ‘Inside the Green Room.’
Green’s announcement came just after his former Toronto teammate, Kawhi Leonard, made public his decision to sign a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Clippers — a move that also incorporates 6-time NBA All-Star Paul George.
