As the 2019-20 NBA season approaches, it’s good to check in on some former North Carolina players and where they are at in their professional career.
After a slow start to his career, Luke Maye burst onto the scene as a sophomore hitting the game-winning shot vs. Kentucky to send the Tar Heels to the Elite 8. After that, Maye racked up the honors in his next two years both academically and on the court.
Following the end of his senior year, Maye wasn’t selected in the 2019 NBA Draft but he did sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.
