One of the premier high school basketball players in the country has set a date to announce his college decision. Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels are hoping that the talented prospect picks them.
Matthew Hurt, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward out of Rochester, Minnesota, will announce his college choice on April 19; a decision that is believed to be down to just four schools: Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina. The Minnesota Golden Gophers — who his brother, Michael, plays for — were in the hunt for quite some time, but appear to have dropped off Hurt’s radar in recent months.
