The North Carolina basketball program secured its third 5-star commitment from the class of 2020 when top-25 prospect Caleb Love pledged to the Tar Heels on Tuesday night.
A 6-foot-3-inch, 170-pound point guard out of Christian Brothers College in St Louis, Love picked North Carolina over Missouri, the other finalist on his list. He’d already eliminated Arizona, Kansas, Indiana and Louisville from contention last month.
“I’m headed to North Carolina and the reason I picked them was when I went on my visit, it felt like a family culture, from start to finish, from when I got there to when I left,” Love said.
