In an announcement made on Tuesday morning, 5-star class of 2019 prospect Cole Anthony selected the University of North Carolina over Georgetown, Oregon and Notre Dame, putting an end to one of the most talked about and highly anticipated decisions in the world of basketball over the past year.
Sitting alongside his parents and ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, Anthony made the announcement live on “Get Up”, stating that his relationship with UNC head coach Roy Williams and assistant coach Hubert Davis, along with the family atmosphere he felt in Chapel Hill, were some of the prevailing factors that helped him come to his final decision.
