A lot of the hope going into this season was based on a really strong recruiting class by Hubert Davis. It was a top ten class with a couple of five stars and one three star, and combined with a returning player of the year in RJ Davis, the hope was that the skill would overcome the lack of depth in the middle with the departure of Armando Bacot.
The problem of course is when you don’t have the depth in the middle people have to play out of position, and what can already be a difficult transition to the next level is even more difficult.
