North Carolina commit R.J. Davis is quietly flying under the radar as one of the more underrated guards in the 2020 recruiting class. He’s also one of the more underrated prospects in UNC’s class that features three other five-star recruits and four-star win Donovan “Puff” Johnson.
Davis is off to a fantastic start in his final year at Archbishop Stepinac High School in New York, performing well at a few different tournaments early on.
But on Friday, Davis reached a milestone at the Crusader Classic at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. The four-star combo guard reached the 2,000-point mark for his high school career in the 62-54 win over Iona Prep.
