The North Carolina Tar Heels are officially out of the running for recruit Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.
On Thursday, the five-star forward officially eliminated the Tar Heels and cut his list down to two schools, leaving Kansas and Villanova as the finalists.
Rivals reporter Eric Bossi first reported the news late Wednesday night and Robinson-Earl’s mother, Katie Robinson, confirmed the report to the Kansas City Star on Thursday morning.
Robinson-Earl eliminated UNC, Notre Dame and Arizona from his list of five finalists after taking all of his official visits. He was on campus in September with wing Josh Green for an official visit to UNC and now the Tar Heels have lost out on both IMG Academy recruits.
