Walker Miller joined the North Carolina men’s basketball program as a walk-on in the fall of 2017. The brother of former UNC sharpshooter, Wes Miller, Walker had already committed to Dartmouth, but spurned the Ivy League school to become a Tar Heel.
He knew that playing time in Chapel Hill would be scarce, but it was a no-brainer for Miller once North Carolina head coach Roy Williams offered him the opportunity to join the Tar Heels. And the playing time has, indeed, been scarce for Miller, who logged just a minute-and-a-half per game over his first two seasons at North Carolina.
