NBC Sports released its 2018-19 college basketball postseason awards on Monday, and a pair of North Carolina Tar Heels have been honored for their fantastic play throughout the regular season.
Senior wing Cameron Johnson and freshman point guard Coby White have both been named All-Americans by publication; Johnson to the second team and White to the third.
Joining Johnson on the second team is Marquette’s Markus Howard, Murray State guard Ja Morant, Tennessee’s Grant Williams and Gonzaga forward Brandon Clarke.
Johnson has been the anchor and most consistent piece of North Carolina’s offense this season, and established himself as one of the best shooters in all of college basketball.
