The 2019 college baseball season is over for the North Carolina Tar Heels but the awards keep coming.
Just a few days after UNC lost their Super Regional series to Auburn in Chapel Hill, a trio of Diamond Heels were honored by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association in the form of the All-Region Team.
The list is headlined by freshman standout Aaron Sabato who has racked up the awards following a fantastic fist year in Chapel Hill. Sabato has already been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year as well as the National Co-Freshman of the Year.
